Welcome Michael, the latest IPM recruit

When we bring on new members to the IPM team, we always like to give you a quick introduction so you know more about the skilled and knowledgeable people who keep our Scheme in good running order.

This month, we’ve welcomed Michael Banton-Newman to our property team.

Michael is a welcome addition to IPM’s property team

Originally from south-east London, Michael moved to Hertfordshire after graduating from Royal Holloway in 2024, where he studied law. He has since worked for LV= as part of its drawdown team, before progressing to work on investments and property at the firm.

Michael describes himself as a “jack of all hobbies” – in particular, he loves e-sports and music, spending most of his time at his computer tinkering with half-finished projects! 

With a significant interest in pensions and a keen willingness to learn, Michael will join our property team to assist with day-to-day tasks and support with the final stages of transactions, liaising between clients, advisers, and tenants.
