10 years, 5 stars: Moneyfacts gives the IPM SIPP a decade of full marks
This article is intended for financial services professionals only. None of the information contained in this article should be received as advice. Pensions are a complicated area of financial planning and IPM suggests that financial advice from a suitably regulated financial adviser is sought before an individual takes any action in respect of their pension savings.
We’re excited to announce that, for the 10th year in a row, the IPM SIPP has received the highly regarded five-star rating from Moneyfacts for 2026.
Moneyfacts is the UK’s leading provider of retail financial product data. It makes an annual assessment of SIPP and SSAS providers across the market, scoring them according to strict criteria. Its star ratings are designed to identify the most complete products on the market. The rating system focuses primarily on products with competitive charges and a full suite of features.
In fact, Moneyfacts considers 40 fields of information for each product it reviews, including:
- Investment options

- Set-up and admin fees
- Dealing fees
- Property purchase fees
- In specie fees
- Cash transfer fees
- UFPLS availability and charges
- Flexi-access charges
- Transfer-out charges
- Online valuation availability
- Deposit account choice.
After reviewing the above, Moneyfacts offers a three-, four-, or five-star rating exclusively to those with standout features.
Having consistently been awarded a five-star rating for 10 years, it is clear that Moneyfacts recognises the IPM SIPP as combining quality with longevity. While the regulatory landscape and consumer needs have evolved, our offering continues to be of the highest standard.
A full decade of excellence to reassure you and your clients
It means so much to us that Moneyfacts, an impartial and well-regarded body in our sector, considers the IPM SIPP to be the cream of the crop. We know that for both advisers and clients, having such an accolade attached to a product can help make an informed, confident decision when choosing between providers.
According to data collected by Moneyfacts:
- 93% of people agree that a star rating from an independent and impartial company could influence their decision in considering taking out a financial services product.
- 80% of people agree that an independent star rating is of importance when taking out a financial services product.
Clearly, our consistent five-star rating could instil valuable peace of mind in your clients if you recommend the IPM SIPP.
We couldn’t continue to reach this high standard without the hard work of our entire team and the trust and support of the firms and individuals we work with.
James Randall, Associate Director, says, “In a market where assessments and due diligence on SIPP providers is regularly carried out, consistently receiving the highest possible rating from Moneyfacts, whose assessment covers a wide range of factors, helps to build confidence and reassurance in the IPM offering.”
