David Sutcliffe - Managing Director
David is co-owner of I.P.M. SIPP Administration Limited (IPM). He was instrumental in forming the company and has over 25 years experience in the pensions industry. Since achieving an MSc in Personnel Management from Aston University, David’s career has seen him involved in all areas of pension planning including a period with a major UK life office as a regional sales manager. His involvement with self administered arrangements started in 1988 with a city based SSAS consultancy and latterly with SIPPs, which lead to the creation of the IPM Personal Pension Scheme in 1995.
David maintains a strong day to day involvement with the company and he is focused on ensuring the service offered by IPM evolves so that it continues to meet the needs of our introducers and clients. When not in the office David typically can be found in the French Alps sharing his passion of skiing with his wife and two daughters, jogging or on his bike.

Jonathan Lochery - Sales Director
Jonathan was a member of the original IPM staff following the establishment of the company in 1999. He studied Economics and Politics at the University of Leeds. After graduating in 1989 he started his career in pensions with a number of UK insurance companies providing technical sales solutions to the IFA market, predominately in the city of London and surrounding counties. In early 1999 Jonathan joined Rea Brothers to promote their SIPP offering and this employment continued with IPM after the sale of the business. With IPM, Jonathan was tasked solely with expanding the existing client base to firms nationwide who could benefit from the expertise offered by a truly bespoke SIPP provider. Jonathan’s technical knowledge on the pension industry has been fundamental in IPM’s growth and he is regularly asked to present at regional seminars or provide comment in the industry media.
Jonathan is married and has a young son (with a second on the way). When not following the turbulent fortunes of Oldham Athletic FC Jonathan is usually reading through Stuff magazine plotting which gadget to buy next!

Barbara Parker - Head of Property
Barbara joined IPM in 2002 and was recruited to develop and streamline procedures for commercial property purchases. She has been dealing with SIPP property purchases since 1994 when she established and managed the property department for the head office of a national insurance company. Along with devising the procedures and standard documentation it was also her responsibility to establish and maintain relationships with solicitors and banks used for the transactions. Barbara was also heavily involved in the troubleshooting of the internal administration systems used by the company which resulted in the increase of the levels of service and output. The experience and extensive knowledge Barbara has brought to IPM has led to her being an important part of the team. Under her guidance our property team has grown to be a vital element of the service IPM provides and she has also led the development of our new in house administration system.
When not on one of her many holidays with her husband, Barbara enjoys swimming, Motown music and has recently discovered the delights of indoor sky diving.

Claire Warren - Head of Administration
Claire joined IPM in 2003 in the role of senior team administrator. After gaining an honours degree in Economics, Claire’s career in pensions started when she joined the SIPP department of an insurance company as an administrator in 1996. She was quickly promoted to senior administrator where she studied for her Financial Planning Certificate before being made SIPP team leader in 2001. Her experience for running a team of administrators and leadership qualities proved to be an asset once she had joined IPM and in 2005 Claire was promoted to her current position of Head of Administration. Claire is now responsible for designating the roles of our staff and ensuring that the day to day administration of the IPM Personal Pension Scheme remains at the highest standard possible. She also boasts an excellent technical pensions knowledge.
Aside from pensions Claire’s interests include reading, socialising, taking her two greyhounds on long walks and football where she actively supports Tottenham Hotspur FC.

James Randall - Sales Executive

James has been with IPM since early 2002, originally as a junior administrator. Since this time James has worked in all areas of SIPP administration. He developed procedures for processing the new business, an area which he particularly enjoyed as this was a more client facing role. In 2006 he moved over to the sales and marketing side of the business to develop existing relationships with intermediaries and clients. Aside from sales James was also instrumental in the development of the website and continues to work on the online facility, due to be launched later this year. He is responsible for the production of all company literature.
James is currently studying for his Certificate in Financial Planning to gain a greater understanding of the requirements an IFA must meet. Outside of the office James plays for a local football team, helps to run another club, actively supports Stevenage Borough FC and enjoys socialising with friends and travelling.
