IPM will instruct one of our experienced panel solicitors to deal with the purchase.
We have an agreed cost structure with our panel solicitors for a standard purchase. However if the matter is time consuming with unforeseen complications our solicitors reserve the right to charge additional fees.. The IFA or member will be advised of this before any additional costs are incurred.
While IPM is prepared to allow members to instruct their own solicitors to deal with the property purchase we will insist they are overseen by our own panel solicitors.. Many solicitors are unfamiliar with the various requirements of taking a property into a SIPP as opposed to an individual purchasing a property personally.. Our panel solicitors will levy an overseeing fee in addition to the fees charged by the appointed firm.
